Prince William has been described as “unbothered” as Prince Harry continues his life apart from him following a significant setback. The reports emerge as Prince William was photographed attending a public engagement appearing notably cheerful on Thursday (July 9).
He was spotted at an event in Hastings where he appeared to be thoroughly enjoying himself. The Prince took part in a round of crazy golf, playing three holes against Murray Thompson, one of the UK’s highest ranked crazy-golfers, and numerous photographs have surfaced showing him grinning broadly and seemingly relishing his interactions with the public.
It isn’t the first time he has captivated onlookers recently either. Just weeks ago, people were left in stitches after he responded to a stranger’s call.
However, after photographs appeared on X, many felt he looked utterly “unbothered” as Prince Harry forges ahead with life without him. This follows confirmation this week that Prince Harry lost his High Court case against Associated Newspapers Limited.
Posting a photograph of Prince William smiling while holding a golf club, one social media user wrote: “My unbothered King today.” Numerous others also remarked upon William’s apparent delight as the images began to circulate.

Another said: “Living his best life.” While someone else observed: “Prince William will make a first class King.
“An amazing person, a real family man who believes his immediate family come first, in my opinion. A true leader in the world environment. Will be a great day when he becomes King.”
A separate social media user chimed in: “Future King, future kinging.” Another remarked: “Just out here doing your engagement and putting the focus on the communities and organisation. Love to see it.”
Yet another wrote: “To become a King, it’s necessary to understand the people. This man loves the people and it shows.”
Meanwhile, as Harry continues his time in the UK, he was photographed visiting a hospital, meeting staff, patients and their families during a tour of Birmingham Children’s Hospital to mark 20 years of the charity WellChild’s specialist nursing programme.
The charity works to support seriously ill children and their families as they transition from hospital back to their homes, and the visit appeared to generate considerable excitement amongst staff and families alike.
Although both brothers are currently on British soil, they appear to be leading vastly different lives, with their worlds seemingly having drifted considerably apart.
Following William’s public engagement on Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared on Instagram: “A visit to Hastings Commons, where neglected buildings have been transformed into homes, workspaces and welcoming community spaces.
“Meeting young people at the youth club and spending time in the ‘Public Living Room’, a place where anyone can find warmth, conversation and connection. A powerful example of how community-led regeneration is creating opportunities and bringing people together.”
