Former Nickelodeon actress Christy Knowings has d!ed aged 46. The star was best known for her work on the sketch comedy series All That.
According to TMZ, her family confirmed that the TV star d!ed suddenly in Los Angeles on Tuesday. They said that Christy suffered an asthma attack on Friday, which left her with brain damage. They ultimately decided to take her off life support earlier this week. Her auntie also shared the news on Facebook, as she wrote: “My brother Charles’ daughter Chrissy (Christy Knowings) has passed… She was a outstanding actress, comedian, twin sister, an amazing daughter….Rest in power Chrissy.”

Christy’s manager, Al Hill, remembered the performer as a woman of many talents who remained dedicated to her craft throughout her career.
“Christy was a multi-talented lady,” he told Variety in a statement. “Whether it was singing, acting, dancing, she was always creating. Always professional and dedicated to her work.”
The star joined the hit sketch comedy series during its fourth season. She performed alongside stars like Danny Tamberelli, Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, and Amanda Bynes for three seasons before exiting in 2000.
Following her time on Nickelodeon, Knowings had a recurring role on Sesame Street alongside her twin brother, Chris Knowings, from 2008 to 2011.
In addition to acting, Christy was a musical artist who released her song To the World in 2020.
Christy is the second former All That cast member to die this year. Kianna Underwood was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Brooklyn in January.
It is understood the 33-year-old star – who starred in the final season of the popular comedy show All That back in 2005 – was crossing the road between Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville when the incident took place.
It was reported that her body was found with severe trauma, and she was pronounced de@d at the scene.
Kianna appeared on the Nickelodeon series during its later years and also worked as a child actor on other television projects.
