BBC Strictly Come Dancing star Tabby Stoecker has received a warm show of support from her professional partner Mark Karmalita following a recent Instagram post. Taking to her Instagram account, the 25 year old Skeleton athlete shared a series of photographs documenting her early weeks of training on the BBC series, captioning the carousel: “Finding #strictly”. She added: “Swipe to see a perfect depiction of how my feet are feeling after 1 week of training.”
Among the images were snaps of herself and Mark in front of a green screen and rehearsing their upcoming routine for Strictly Come Dancing. The final slide featured a painting of a swollen red foot being bitten by a demon, perfectly capturing the state of Tabby’s aching feet. Graeme ‘The Dogfather’ Hall and fellow Strictly contestant posted a sad face emoji and a high heel beneath the photos. Tabby’s professional partner Mark responded to the comment with: “She’s a trooper” accompanied by a flexing bicep emoji.

Mark also remarked: “The last slide” alongside a crying with laughter emoji. Fellow Strictly professional Madison Ingoldsby also chipped in, posting: “GO TEAM GO TEAM.”
Fellow Strictly competitor Dani Dyer simply responded with a string of heart-eyed emojis, while one of Tabby’s Skeleton sporting peers, Amy Williams, wrote: “What a couple great team.”
Tabby and Mark’s pairing was unveiled at the launch show over the weekend, when all the celebrities discovered their professional dance partners. Tabby has since opened up about her hopes for her Strictly journey.

She explained: “I’d love to find some confidence in who I am outside of my sport – I’m used to performing with a level of armour so to speak – being in a helmet so no one can see my individuality. But on Strictly it’s going to be all about stripping those layers away and showing people who I truly am.”
Tabby continued: “It’s so vulnerable to express yourself fully but I’m craving the opportunity to explore who I am and share it with the world. No more smiling behind a helmet!”
She also disclosed that she had spoken to a few former contestants about taking part in Strictly, revealing her key piece of advice: “Do not underestimate how hard the training is. And blister plasters… lots and lots of blister plasters!” Based on the guidance she’s received, Tabby appears well-prepared for the challenge ahead.
While Tabby lacks formal dancing experience, she shared what her loved ones thought of her abilities on the dance floor, joking: “I think they’d say I’ve got rhythm and that I definitely look like I’m enjoying myself… but I don’t necessarily have any of the skills to back up my enthusiasm!”
