The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are considering a bombshell return to the UK, it has been suggested. One source said Meghan feels like an “outcast” in the US as the “American dream is cooling” following the end of deals with Netflix and Spotify.
An ally of Prince Harry also told the Daily Mail there is “a feeling that the American dream might not be all that it was cracked up to be”, adding: “There is definitely a feeling in his camp that he has started to feel a bit unwelcome in America.”
The reports say Meghan is “fully behind” the Duke reconnecting with his roots and comes days after the couple, and their children Archie and Lilibet, reunited with their grandfather King Charles at his rural Highgrove Residence. It’s claimed Harry and Meghan could use their holiday home in Portugal as a staging post back to the UK.
No return from the US is said to be permanent or imminent.
Meghan Markle hit with brutal blow after Emmy nomination for Netflix show
Meghan Markle has been hit with a brutal blow after thousands think her Netflix show should not win an Emmy award. Earlier this month, it was revealed that The Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix show “With Love, Meghan” had been nominated for a daytime Emmy award in the outstanding lifestyle programme category.
The Netflix cooking show, which released two seasons and a festive special episode last year, was controversial, with some fans loving it and others being very critical. The show also received lower-than-anticipated ratings, with Netflix currently having no plans to work on a third season of the show. This, for some, has made the Emmy nomination news even more surprising.
After lots of public reaction online, here at the Daily Express we launched a poll asking our readers whether the Netflix show should win an Emmy award.

Fashion experts and royal fanatics have deciphered a sweet message in the clothing choices of the royals. The Royal Family dress thoughtfully for their engagements, planning their outfits to the smallest details. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are no exception, and even their outfits are carefully planned.
Some have suggested that the royals outfits can contain “hidden messages” and fans pay particular attention to the colours the royals wear. During Trooping the Colour in 2023, a special message was decoded in their outfit choices. The day marked a special occasion for the Royal Family, and although the event happens annually, 2023 was a particularly special occasion.

Prince Harry slammed over plans for ‘more UK visits’ – ‘we don’t want him’
Prince Harry’s hopes of planning more UK family visits if he can secure taxpayer-funded security have been slammed by commentators. The Duke of Sussex has become more determined than ever to fight for full security protection in Britain after reuniting his children with King Charles this month, according to reports.
He lost an appeal over the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office last year after it was decided he and his family should receive a reduced level of protection after moving to the US. One X user said, “We don’t want him here”, while another questioned why Harry is so desperate for UK security when he is “happy and settled overseas”.
A third added: “They are not entitled to taxpayer-funded protection. Harry stated that he felt trapped within that system and the Royal Family, and consequently, there is no place or role for him in that family.”

Thomas Markle’s ‘true feelings’ about Archie and Lilibet meeting King Charles
Meghan Markle’s estranged father, who has never met his grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, is likely to be “devastated” that King Charles has seen them this month, a royal expert has claimed. Last Friday (July 10) a reunion took place at Highgrove House between King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Their Majesties hosted the family-of-four at their private home, marking the first time they have seen the King’s grandchildren Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, since 2022. It is also the first time the King and Queen have seen Harry’s wife Meghan in four years. While little is known about the meeting, which was held in private, it is believed the aim was to allow the monarch to finally get to spend time with his grandchildren who are being raised in America.
