BREAKING: Meghan Markle dealt new humiliating blow as ‘dire’ As Ever torn to shreds
Meghan Markle has been dealt a fresh blow as her lifestyle brand was torn apart on TalkTV. The Duchess of Sussex, 44, launched As Ever in April 2025 and allows fans the chance to get their hands on curated items such as jams, teas, and homeware. The panel did not hold back in their criticism as the success of Meghan’s brand was discussed on TalkTV, with presenter Kevin O’Sullivan branding it “laughable”.
When Kevin mentioned As Ever, Samara Gill let out a huge laugh, leading the presenter to declare: “Yeah, exactly. It’s just laughable. Everybody can see that’s not working.” He mocked the former actress for selling candles for $64 and jars of jam for $15, claiming she has only kept the company going because shutting it down would be “embarrassing” for her.

“It just sits there like a useless lump, not earning her any money. It has been reported she’s got a million dollars worth of stock gathering cobwebs in a warehouse that she just cannot flog off,” Kevin quipped.
He claimed that Meghan wanted her company to achieve global success, but failed to realise how complicated selling products across multiple countries would be due to different food regulations and laws.
Kevin remarked: “It’s a massive project. She didn’t even realise. She thought she just had to put the jam on a plane and send it to the Philippines and Bob’s your uncle. Rubbish. It’s difficult.”

Samara chimed in: “She thought that she could do it with the apparatus of the Netflix conglomerate, which parted ways with her because they couldn’t see any profitability in any way.

“Netflix is probably one of the most profitable companies in the world that is willing to throw money at absolutely anything and even they didn’t want to fund the expansion of As ever, which shows you just how dire it is.”
The presenter suggested that Meghan has reached new levels of desperation to shift her jam that’s “fast going off” by collaborating with “random companies”.
“It’s really really dire,” she added.
When Ash Gould questioned whether Meghan’s jam had a lengthy shelf life, Kevin revealed it expires next year, which he claimed is why retail experts believe she will struggle to sell it.
He argued: “That’s the whole point. There’s a sell by date on it and it’s next July. Retail experts say she’s got no chance of offloading that produce by next July.”
