HEARTBREAKING: Princess Catherine reveals one thing she lost the ability to do during c@ncer treatment

Princess Catherine made a sad admission last month when she revealed she lost the ability to read during cancer treatment. The Princess of Wales, who was diagnosed and treated for an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024, made the admission in June when she visited the Christie Cancer Care Hospital.
The princess has visited numerous cancer hospitals since revealing she was in remission in January 2025. She has also been very open in sharing her experiences with the disease and what helped her get by. Speaking to a patient at the Christie Cancer Care Hospital last month, Catherine said, “I don’t know about you, but I didn’t have the ability to read or really focus on anything.”

The princess then revealed that she liked to colour throughout her cancer treatment, as it allowed her to simply relax without requiring “an end finished piece”.
When she said she did not have the ability to read, this is believed to be a reference to the fact that she struggled with concentration during chemotherapy treatment.
This is common among cancer patients and tends to be referred to as “chemo brain” or “chemo fog”.

It is believed the princess, 44, has always found comfort in art, with Prince William once revealing that his wife liked colouring in 2016.

It is also well-known that Catherine found comfort in nature throughout her cancer journey and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
The mum-of-three has spoken about this a number of times and even launched a series called Mother Nature, which consisted of small videos to mark each season of the year.
In January, Catherine explained: “The Mother Nature series has been a deeply personal, creative reflection on how nature has helped me heal. But it is also a story about the power of nature and creativity in collective healing.
“There is so much we can learn from Mother Nature, as we look to build a happier, healthier world. C.”
