A Place in the Sun favourite Jasmine Harman has revealed just how relentless her schedule has become as she continues filming new episodes of the Channel 4 property show.
The presenter shared an update with fans on Sunday morning after another hectic few days that have seen her travel between Portugal, Spain and the UK.
Jasmine explained that she had only just returned from Lisbon in the early hours before spending a brief day at home in Estepona.
But there was little chance to slow down.
“Now I’m back at the airport, heading to Barcelona,” she said, before revealing she would then travel back to Malaga and later head to Birmingham for A Place in the Sun Live at the NEC.
“Even I can’t keep track of myself!” she joked.
The whirlwind schedule comes as Jasmine continues working on fresh episodes of the long-running Channel 4 series, more than two decades after first joining the programme.
Jasmine Wraps Another Portugal Shoot
Just a day earlier, Jasmine had celebrated completing another week of filming in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal.
“Another week of filming wrapped, and what a gorgeous one it was,” she told followers.
The presenter also praised colleague Vicky Murua, saying it had been a pleasure to work together again.
But for Jasmine, the highlight remained helping the programme’s house hunters find somewhere they genuinely wanted to call home.
She described the moment when clients finally discover a property they love enough to make an offer on as the best part of the job.
“There’s nothing quite like that moment when all the searching pays off,” she said.
After another successful Portuguese trip, Jasmine signed off by celebrating the “beautiful places” and “brilliant people” she had encountered along the way.
Life Abroad Changed Everything
Jasmine has become one of the most recognisable faces of A Place in the Sun since making her debut on the programme in 2004.
Her professional life has also increasingly mirrored the overseas lifestyle she has spent years helping other families pursue.
Jasmine now lives in Estepona, Spain, with her husband John Boast and their two children, Joy and Albion.
The presenter previously admitted that leaving Britain and establishing a family life abroad was not an impulsive decision.
“It has been a huge decision – a year or more in the making,” she explained.
For Jasmine and John, the move was ultimately about improving their quality of life and spending more meaningful time together as a family.
“The years slip away,” she said, adding that their children remain at the centre of everything they do.
Jonnie Irwin’s Death Changed Jasmine’s Outlook
Jasmine has also spoken movingly about how the death of her longtime friend and A Place in the Sun colleague Jonnie Irwin influenced the way she thinks about life.
She previously explained that his diagnosis made her realise how quickly circumstances can change.
“Anything can happen any day, and life is so precious,” Jasmine said.
For her, the experience became a reminder not to keep postponing major decisions or waiting for the “perfect” time to pursue something important.
“I think you’ve got to live for the day,” she added.
Jasmine said she often sees the same change in perspective among the people appearing on A Place in the Sun.
Many of the house hunters she meets have experienced a major event — such as a health scare or bereavement — that pushes them to finally make the move they had previously only talked about.
That outlook now appears to shape Jasmine’s own life as much as her television work.
Despite an exhausting schedule that currently has her moving from airport to airport, she continues to throw herself into the show that has defined much of her career.
And with new episodes already being filmed, fans can expect to see plenty more of Jasmine as she helps another group of hopeful buyers turn their overseas dream into reality.
