DEEPLY WORRYING: Police Reveal New Noah Development
Police have cordoned off a lake and surrounding areas as the urgent search for missing three-year-old Noah Woods continues in Suffolk.
Noah disappeared on Tuesday after becoming separated from a relative at a playground in Merriam Close, Brantham, at around 3pm.
The youngster is believed to have run from the playground down a nearby alleyway leading towards a new-build housing estate.
A major search operation continued throughout the night and into Wednesday as officers, emergency teams and others concentrated on several areas close to where Noah was last seen.
Police have now placed a cordon around Decoy Pond while officers search the area.
Police Close Off Lake and Woodland
As the search expanded, a nearby wooded area was also closed to members of the public.
An officer was seen putting up additional police tape and telling people the area was “out of bounds” while searches continued.
The decision to restrict access allows emergency teams to work through the area while keeping members of the public away from locations currently being examined.
Decoy Pond has become another focus of the operation, with police securing the surrounding area as the search for Noah enters another crucial stage.
