GB News issues ‘desperate’ King Charles update after ‘disgraceful’ Harry move

GB News issued an update on “desperate” King Charles ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returning to the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to come back for the one-year countdown celebration of the Invictus Games, which will be held in July 2027 in Birmingham. It will be the first time Harry has visited the UK with his family in four years, as he is set to bring Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five.
The family have reportedly been told by King Charles that their security will be covered, and they are set to stay at a royal residence during their stay in the UK. But Former Royal Editor at The Sun Charles Rae told GB News star Dawn Neesom he was sceptical that Meghan will come.

He said: “Well, it’s good news for the king because he’ll get to see his grandchildren. He hasn’t seen them since 2022. So if they come back, I’ve always been doubtful that Meghan would come back to this country.
And to be perfectly honest, Dawn, I shall believe it when I actually see it, that she actually arrives back in the UK. But if she’s coming with the children and Harry, it looks like to me that there’s been quite a lot of behind-the-scenes negotiations. Harry clearly has relented a little bit on his stance that Britain is a dangerous country for his family,” as he spoke about reports Harry and his family would be staying in a royal residence.
Dawn continued: “It’s a very difficult tightrope for King Charles to travel along, isn’t it? Because on one hand, obviously, you know, we know he’s fighting cancer. He must be desperate to meet those grandchildren properly.

“But on the other hand, he’s being used as a bit of a political pawn by Harry and Meghan.”

Charles said: “Yes, I agree that he is being used as a pawn. But, you know, this is supposedly an olive branch. Let’s see how it all pans out. I mean, if the King gets to see his grandchildren, which is dearly worse, I mean, nobody likes to see families split up. I mean, I think Harry and Meghan have behaved disgracefully over the time that they’ve been in the States, in any case, with the visa attacks and so forth.”
