GMB stars dealt devastating blow just moments after coming off air

Readers of Express.co.uk have had their say and, in damning results from a recent poll, it was declared that Good Morning Britain is seen as biased. The ITV breakfast show, often fronted by Ed Balls and Susanna Reid, frequently comes under fire when grilling politicians.
Ed, who is an ex-member of the Labour Party and married to Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Yvette Cooper, often finds himself in hot water as he tries to put down any opposition parties live on air. On Tuesday morning, for example, the GMB star was bashed for questioning the legitimacy of Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch. The politician appeared on the ITV programme as she reacted to UK Reform leader Nigel Farage’s address in relation to the shocking case of Henry Nowak’s murder.

As she slammed Farage for using the tragic case as a political point, Balls quickly accused her of doing the same – but his interruption was not received well by viewers.
Taking to social media, one person fumed: “What a joke #GMB has become, with awful presenter Ed Balls, absolutely disgraceful behaviour. ITV is now so bias on their views!”
Another echoed: “@GMB Not sure he means to do it, but Ed Balls makes sensitive interviews so cringe to watch. I certainly don’t think he’s able to read the room.”
Recently, the show received several Ofcom complaints for “being biased”. Ed ruffled some feathers after having “political bias” during a “disgraceful” live clash on the breakfast show.
Some fans have even noted the TV host wearing a red tie while interviewing members of the Conservative Party, which suggests he is subconsciously backing his beloved Labour Party.
These events are the latest in a long list of embarrassing gaffes that saw Ed accused of anti-antisemitism, which forced the programme to issue an apology.
And the blunders haven’t gone unnoticed. In a recent Express Poll, where readers were asked if the show was biased, a whopping 3,505 people voted.
Out of those, a staggering 3,244 readers thought that GMB was, in fact, biased. Only 191 voters thought that it wasn’t and 70 others couldn’t decide either way.
