Harry just burned one bridge too many – Hollywood is over for them

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly “burned too many bridges” to make it in Hollywood, and their latest is “very telling”, according to News24 star Chloe Walker. Host Danica De Giorgio introduced the segment after Oprah Winfrey reportedly “snubbed” a second sit-down interview with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
De Giorgio said: “Now Oprah Winfrey has also reportedly snubbed Harry and Meghan. They floated the idea of a second sit-down interview. I mean, I don’t know why that was floated – it was of course so explos!ve, that very first one. The fact that Oprah has reportedly snubbed the Sussexes here, what does that say about their current standing in Hollywood?”

Walker replied: “Yeah, it’s a brutal blow for them, considering Oprah is both a friend and a neighbour.
“They apparently floated the idea of doing a second interview with her, following on from, of course their bombshell interview in 2021, where they accused the Royal Family of being racists, among other things. They said this one, though, would be all about reconciliation and healing.
“But Oprah apparently politely declined. Rob Shuda said that she received so much backlash from the first interview that she just doesn’t want to go back there.

“I think it’s very telling where the Sussexes currently sit in Hollywood. They’ve burned a lot of bridges, and Oprah being one of them now is very, very telling.”
It comes after Oprah looked back on her first interview with the royal couple, admitting to Vanity Fair: “They didn’t know, obviously, anything that I was going to ask them, but I had said to them ahead of time, ‘I’m going to try to cover everything.’
“This interview took three and a half hours. I was just trying to carefully go through everything that had come up in the past.”
