‘He’s broken the royal family’! GMB star hits out at Prince Harry in furious rant

Prince Harry was torn apart in a brutal rant by Good Morning Britain’s regular commentator, Andrew Pierce. The journalist, who is also a presenter on GB News, joined his colleagues, Alex Armstrong and Ellie Costello, on the programme’s breakfast show to discuss the Duke of Sussex’s complicated arrival in the UK. This comes after the Royal’s highly publicised security row with Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC), his invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace being revoked and more recently, Prince Harry’s High Court claim against the Daily Mail being dismissed.

Addressing the losing court battle, Andrew stated: “Well, I have to declare an interest as someone who has been working for the Mail since 2010. These lurid allegations were made before I was there; every single one was rejected by the judge.” He added: “Allegations that stories were obtained by these celebrities by phone hacking or other illegal means … it is a comprehensive victory for the Mail.”

The author continued: “Prince Harry, Elton John and those other celebrities were not seen as particularly credible. I think it’s a great day for journalism and free speech.”

As Alex highlighted: “Not a good day for Prince Harry, though? Not a good week for Prince Harry,” as the presenter explained that the Duke’s trip turned into a “farce” after he was initially supposed to be accompanied by Meghan Markle and their children.

“It did,” Andrew agreed. “It’s just this constant psychodrama with Prince Harry and the King is a very sick man. He’s got cancer, he’s in his late 70s, and his relationship with his son is fractured beyond belief.

“Harry hasn’t spoken to his brother since the funeral of the late Queen.” The commentator remarked: “How sad that it’s come to this, a family that’s completely broken, and I’m afraid Harry has made it that way by writing books to kiss and tell as the financial expense of his own family.”

Ellie then asked: “Do you think he’ll see his father? To which Andrew instantly responded: “No.”

“I’d be amazed if he does. The King’s very busy, you can always find time for your kid, can’t you. Trouble is, when they do meet, a lot of it ends up in the American media.”

According to Royal expert Hilary Fordwich via Fox News Digital, reconciliation between the father and son has become difficult because palace aides and other senior royals “don’t trust Harry.”

She said: “Every interaction will need to be managed, even to the minute, by courtiers and those whose job it is to protect the monarchy. Merely polite meetings are more plausible.

She added: “They are far more concerned with the overall institution and continuity than the feelings of any one family member. This has been the case for generations. Harry should know better.”
