ITV Viewers Turn On The Chase Around The World Over One Frustrating Detail

ITV viewers took to social media with complaints as The Chase Around The World returned to screens with its finale. The six-part game show is the latest spin-off of the network’s hit competition show, The Chase, fronted by Bradley Walsh. Throughout the series, he, alongside the fierce chasers Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan, and Darragh Ennis, left the studios behind to take the beloved contest global.
The final saw six pairs of players embark on a major chase in a bid to win £100,000 and be named the winners of the first ever Chase Around The World. As the race to answer the general knowledge questions and find Bradley got tense, many viewers were left unimpressed and shared their thoughts online. One fumed: “ITV’s #ChaseAroundTheWorld is really f***ing boring. @itv, you need better TV. This is sh**e.”

As another raged: “Out of all The Chase programmes, this is the worst one. I really thought it would be better that this – massive fail #ChaseAroundTheWorld.”
“Thank god this is over. Felt I had to see it out, but what a pile of horse s***,” while a third wrote.
One suggested: “Just an idea for the potential second series. 7 episodes – 6 episodes with the contestants facing two Chasers and the final episode featuring all 6 Chasers.”
Despite the backlash, one fan shared: “Final episode, gutted, I’ve loved this series.”

As a sixth echoed: “I’ve loved #ITVChase #TheChaseAroundTheWorld, but haven’t heard anyone else talking about it. Doubt there will be a second series. Shame. Great mixture of travel and quizzing!”
The contest saw mother and daughter, Nicola and Maddie, sisters Kati and Amy, newly engaged couple Dilan and Emily, Father and Son David and Steven, friends Matt and Cerys and father and daughter Ashwin and Nikita.
In the end, David and his son Steven won the contest as David was the first to locate Bradley and while his father became the fourth person to reach the destination, they were the only pair, ultimately winning the £10,000.
