Prince Harry’s return to Britain has reignited speculation over which members of the Royal Family he could eventually be seen with again, but a new reader poll has produced a surprising result.
The Duke of Sussex moved back to the UK last week with Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after years living in the United States.
Although Harry and Meghan are not expected to return as working royals, their presence in Britain could still open the door to public appearances connected to charities, family events or other non-royal commitments.
That possibility has naturally raised questions about whether Harry might eventually appear alongside relatives with whom his relationships have become strained.
But when Daily Express readers were asked which royal they most wanted to see Harry reunite with publicly, the most popular answer was not King Charles or Prince William.
It was Peter Phillips.

A total of 256 votes went to Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son and Harry’s cousin.
That put Peter ahead of King Charles, who received 217 votes.
The result may come as a surprise given the intense focus on Harry’s relationship with his father since his return to the UK.
But Peter and Harry were once believed to share a close bond.
Like Harry, Peter is not a working royal, and the pair are relatively close in age.
Reports have previously suggested their relationship was particularly warm when they were younger, with their similar positions within the wider family giving them plenty of opportunities to spend time together.
Their current relationship, however, is much less clear.

Interest in the cousins’ relationship increased earlier this year after Harry was reportedly not invited to Peter’s wedding.

Despite the reported distance between them, readers appeared particularly interested in seeing the cousins together again.

King Charles finished behind Peter in the poll with 217 votes.
