King Charles’s nephew to get major news in hours after surprising update

James, Earl of Wessex, is bracing for some major news about his life in just a few hours. King Charles’s nephew will find out his A-Level results on Thursday, along with hundreds of thousands of students across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who are due to find out their exam results. Last year, more than one in four (28.3%) of UK A-level entries were awarded an A or A* grade – up from 27.8% in 2024.
It was the highest proportion of entries scoring top grades outside the pandemic-affected years of 2020-22. The younger child of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh will undoubtedly be anticipating his results ahead of rolling into university.

It comes as reports revealed that Lady Louise Windsor’s brother has got a job at his uncle’s Sandringham Estate this summer.
James was spotted over the last few weeks driving tractors around the estate.
It is believed that the 18-year-old is helping with farm work at Sandringham over the summer.
It is not known what he is getting paid for his summer job.
An estate worker told The Sun about James’ new job: “Everyone is so used to only seeing James smartly turned out with his family at functions at Christmas and Easter so I had to do a double take.

“He might be the King’s nephew, but he is more than happy to get his hands dirty and muck in.
“Driving tractors around Sandringham is not an easy task and it can mean long hours.
“But it doesn’t matter how rich you are, learning a good work ethic at a young age can always help. The King is known for his fondness of the countryside and he couldn’t be prouder knowing the younger royals share his love.”
Despite being a member of the Royal Family, James – along with his older sister Lady Louise – is unlikely to be a working royal in the future.
