Britain’s Got Talent presenters Ant and Dec wasted no time in referencing the recent chaos that unfolded during ITV’s live I’m A Celebrity… South Africa finale.
Opening the first live semi-final of the ITV show, Ant declared: “I just love live telly me, nothing better than live!”
Approaching the judging panel of Amanda Holden, KSI, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon, the duo couldn’t resist alluding to the previous evening’s shenanigans.
Ant remarked: “Judges, I want to clear something up here, just be serious for a second. We had quite enough drama on the telly last night! So, can you please, you four, be on your best behaviour tonight?”

Dec quipped: “Yes, if you misbehave, you’ll be out quicker than Sinitta.”
When revealing Amanda would control the live Golden Buzzer for the evening, they playfully questioned whether she could cope with the responsibility, reports Wales Online.
She responded: “After watching your extraordinary performance last night boys, I’ve learnt from the best, I can handle the pressure.”

Their playful digs referenced the on-stage confrontation between Adam, Jimmy Bullard and David Haye, which required Ant and Dec’s intervention.
Addressing the significant altercation broadcast during the programme between Adam and Jimmy, the hosts asked Jimmy to clarify his decision to withdraw from the competition, despite knowing Adam faced elimination alongside him.
He remarked: “I absolutely threw him under the bus, I get it. I’ll wear that. But what I don’t stand on is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating. I don’t stand on it…. You were there, you had front row seats, you didn’t show none of the C-bombs.”
Ant then responded to the celebrity, stating: “Now, hold on, the reason we can’t show a C-bomb is because that’s unbroadcastable. I was there and I didn’t think it was intimidating. No, I was there, Jim.

“Listen, I take full responsibility for my actions, yes, emotions were definitely running high in that moment. I’ve got nothing but love for Jimmy.”
Adam answered, with David cutting in: “It’s a funny way of showing it.” The controversy escalated, with Dec declaring: “David, you were gone, you weren’t even there! Keep out of this!”
As voices began overlapping, Sinitta rose from her chair and exited the stage, with Gemma Collins hot on her heels. Despite all the backstage turmoil, Adam ultimately triumphed on the programme and was crowned as jungle legend.
