Princess Beatrice is celebrating her 38th birthday, and one person likely to be invited to any celebrations is Piers Morgan. The broadcaster, who has publicly and brazenly slammed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on several occasions, shares an unlikely friendship with his cousin. Their connection sparked major interest among royal fans after the Princess was spotted on different outings and group meals with Piers. Just last month, Princess Beatrice was photographed in Saint-Tropez with Piers, according to Charlotte Griffiths, the editor-at-large at the Mail on Sunday.
In photos obtained by the publication, the pair appeared joyful as they left the Princess Royal pub in Notting Hill. They were joined by Princess Eugenie and singer James Blunt, and even shared a close hug upon their departure. The former Good Morning Britain presenter has also shared nice words about Beatrice on social media, following the scandal about their disgraced father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

After it was reported that the former Duke of York paid his accuser, Virginia Giuffre, an out-of-court settlement of £12 million, Piers reshared a story claiming that “immediate family and trusted advisors still support” Andrew.
At the time, the journalist penned: “You won’t meet nicer and more genuine people than Fergie, Beatrice and Eugenie. This must be an agonisingly difficult time for them, and they deserve our empathy, not opprobrium by association.”
The Uncensored host also defended the royal sisters at a time of high scrutiny and blasted social media trolls: “All the b***hy jibes about Princesses Eugenie & Beatrice are grotesquely unfair.

“They’re both delightfully unaffected young ladies who handle their goldfish-bowl royal lives remarkably well. Good luck with your wedding, Eugenie.”

Although Piers later slammed Andrew as a “snivelling little coward,” he soon took to Instagram to say he had attended the same glitzy event as Beatrice.
Alongside photos of himself posing with his nutritionist, he captioned the post: “Fabulous party to celebrate a brilliant new book by my superstar nutritionist @gabrielapeacock – great people, great food/wine, great venue, great fun.”
In another snap, the Princess, who was also in attendance, was all smiles next to Gabriela, as they posed against a similar backdrop.
Charlotte suggested that as a result of their friendship, Harry’s relationship with Princess Beatrice would be “effectively over”.
During an appearance on the True Royalty podcast, the editor added: “I thought that was very telling because, of course, Piers Morgan is her cousin Prince Harry’s absolute nemesis. So any friendship she has with Prince Harry is effectively over from this moment.”
