ROYAL BOMBSHELL: William And Kate Hold Private Meeting With King Charles As Major News Emerges
Prince William, Kate Middleton quietly meet King Charles after Harry, Meghan UK return news
Prince William and Kate Middleton have quietly met King Charles after a bombshell update.
Hours after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s surprise return to the UK with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, was announced, the Prince and Princess of Wales joined the British monarch at Balmoral Castle in Scotland for a traditional Royal Family gathering, reported Hello!.
Accompanying the future King and Queen were their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The annual reunion takes place at the estate in the Scottish Highlands in the late summer before William and Kate’s kids head back to school.
William and Kate’s visit was a quiet one as neither the couple nor their kids were photographed arriving at the royal residence.
Their Royal Highnesses’ arrival at Balmoral comes just two days after King Charles was warmly welcomed at the castle on Tuesday, August 18.
Ahead of his arrival, King Charles revived a historic Balmoral tradition, which was discontinued by his great-grandfather King George V in 1936.
The grand ceremony marked the presence of the first two members of the newly revived Balmoral Highlanders, who were placed outside the castle’s front gate.
Upon his arrival, a Guard of Honour from the Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, delightfully welcomed the King with a formal ceremony.
The grand event featured the Pipes and Drums of the 2nd Battalion providing musical accompaniment.
Notably, Charles serves as Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce UK return with children
Prince William, Princess Kate and their children kicked off their annual summer vacation at Balmoral Castle hours after it was revealed by The Telegraph that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided to return back to the UK with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, six years after relocating to the US.
According to GB News, King Charles learnt about his younger son and daughter-in-law’s UK return plans just a few days ago, on Sunday, August 16.
After being made aware about the plan, the monarch, as per the report, is delighted to welcome the opportunity to meet the Sussexes in a private and personal capacity.
However, while Charles is joyous over Harry and Meghan’s return with Archie in Lilibet, he has made a shock call on the couple that they cannot rejoin the Royal Family.
