Sharon Osbourne has revealed her single request for fans as she marks the one year anniversary of her husband, Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
The former X Factor star, 73, is remembering her husband today on July 22 and told the BBC that she had just one message to fans who are keen to remember her late partner.
“As Ozzy would say, ‘when you want to remember me, just yank up the music really loud, as loud as you can get it, and just head bang,” she said in a new interview.
She added in the interview with BBC Radio WM (West Midlands) that she wanted people to “remember how funny he was – funny and charismatic and real”.

Ozzy died at the age of 76 last year after a series of health problems and a diagnosis with Parkinson’s in 2019. Before his death he took part in a final performance with Black Sabbath in the band’s farewell Back to the Beginning gig at Villa Park.
Now, a year on from his death, an ‘Ozzy Day’ is taking place in Birmingham to honour the life of Ozzy Osbourne.
The day will see specially commissioned films being shown across the area, musical performances, a specially dressed Ozzy the bull for fans to be photographed with free commemorative polaroid pictures, and an exhibition titled Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero will be shown at Birmingham Museum & Art gallery.
Sharon spoke about the importance of this celebration taking place in his home town of Birmingham: “This is the home of metal.”
“It’s Ozzy’s home, it’s where he was born, what he loved and [Ozzy Day] wouldn’t work anywhere else. He loved this city, he loved its people. He was proud of being a Brummie and that’s it.”

She also added: “I can’t forget what Birmingham did for Ozzy, its such a huge part of my kids and me, and it’s who my husband is, what he is, what he will always be.”
The star added that she hoped that the tradition of Ozzy Day would continue as part of her husband’s legacy.
Fans were quick to support Sharon on social media, recognisiing the significance of the one year anniversary of her husband’s death.
“Sending love to you Sharon and the kids can’t believe it’s a year,” said one commenter. “Sharon you’re such a wonderful soul ,Ozzy is on your side always and in your heart. He would never be forgotten we all miss him so much. I love you so much. I pray every day for you and your family,” added another.
