SO SAD: Emmerdale legend’s d3ath appears to be sealed as eagle-eyed fans spot chilling clue
Emmerdale viewers are speculating that a beloved character could face a tragic death in an upcoming storyline twist. Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has endured several tumultuous weeks on the soap. It recently emerged that he was behind the fatal collision which claimed the lives of Jimmy King (Nick Miles) and Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley).
The incident occurred when Vinny took a call from Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) while at the wheel, prompting Jimmy to lose control and plough into the wedding marquee during Dawn and Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) nuptials. While Dawn initially survived the collision and subsequently delivered her child with Joe, tragedy struck when she experienced a life-threatening postpartum haemorrhage after a premature delivery.

Vinny has since been consumed by remorse, and earlier this week made a confession to Jimmy’s bereaved widow Nicola (Nicola Wheeler). Wednesday’s episode (September 23) saw him disclose everything to Joe – who reacted with fury, reports the Daily Star.
When Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) discovered Vinny’s culpability in the crash, he flew into a rage, launching an assault on Vinny and flooring him with a punch.
However, following his confession to mother Mandy (Lisa Riley), events took an alarming turn when Vinny stood up, experienced a dizzy spell and collapsed onto the ground. With Vinny reportedly set to depart the soap in the near future, viewers are convinced his character could be facing a fatal storyline.

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one follower wrote: “I have a feeling Vinny will die from a brain injury or something after getting hit by Billy. Did anyone else notice him collapse?”.
Another viewer added: “Yeah I don’t think Vinny will make it.” A third chimed in: “I’m wondering if Vinny will have an aneurysm or something.” Echoing the sentiment, a fourth mused: “Something tells me he’s not going to survive.”
It was revealed earlier this year that Vinny is set to bow out of the soap after seven years. An Emmerdale insider said: “Bradley is a very popular member of the cast and especially close with his on-screen Dingle family.
“Everyone is shocked that bosses decided to axe him but it’s all part of the ITV cuts and they still need to trim back the cast.”
