Strictly’s Joanne Clifton, 42, pregnant with her first child – and is due in just a few months
STRICTLY Come Dancing alum Joanne Clifton is pregnant with her first child.
The BBC show dancer, aged 42, uploaded a snap of a ‘Baby on Board’ badge to reveal her very happy news.

Her fiancee, actor AJ Jenks, uploaded a witty caption alongside the image and put a series of tongue-in-cheek name suggestions as he wrote: “ErlingbellinghamDebrunyeLennonMcCartneyTaylorHansonHelenMcroryClaudiaWinklemanAlanCarrBuddyHollyPollyShermanPrincessFiona Clifton-Jenks”.
He the revealed their baby’s due date and put: “Cya in December!”
Fellow Strictly professional Dianne Buswell, who welcomed her first child in March, was quick to write: “Congratulations”.
The show’s Amy Dowden echoed the same message while her brother Kevin – another ex show dancer – posted three Emoji love hearts in response.
The mum to be, who has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in both knees and sometimes struggles with everyday activities, became engaged to AJ last year.
At the time, she took to Instagram to share her happy news, showing off her stunning ring.

Alongside her pictures, she wrote in the caption: “Got bored … so we’re getting married. Cheers!”
Joanne and AJ went public with their romance in 2020.
She previously confessed that the performer managed to change her mind after she initially decided not to date anyone from her industry.
Speaking to Metro, Joanne said: “Before I met my boyfriend AJ, I said to myself, I’m not going to go out with anyone from the industry.
“But you can’t help what happens”.
Meanwhile, on-screen, Joanne and partner Ore Oduba won the BBC ballroom show in 2016.
It came just two years after she joined the series in 2014.
