Much to the titillation of the MLB (major league baseball) commentators, a man, sporting a baseball cap with a pair of sunglasses perched on top of it, decided to fondle his companion’s breasts – live in front of millions.

“For the folks at home, I will apologise,” the lead commentator said before then chuckling, telling his colleague, that the man was “a handful my friend.”

The pair then stayed silent for 30 seconds after it became apparent that they had been laughing hysterically. Delivering another witty offering as the broadcast cut to a commercial break, the commentator quipped: “A’s down by a few. Trying to grab a couple back…”

Fans were also left in hysterics after the game, which the Rangers won 9-3, and took to social media to comment. One posted: “This is the best I love it! Now that’s what I call a date night!”

Meanwhile, a third mused: “Never a dull moment during an A’s broadcast.”

Footage emerged of the kiss cam at the Phillies game on America’s east coast, with the stadium playing a Coldplay song in the background as the camera on the big screen panned to couples in the stands at Citizens Bank park.

The happy couples on screen shared a kiss, while one man mocked the scandal by holding up a sign that read: “This is my wife”, in an obvious nod to the Astronomer saga, before giving his partner a smooch.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia’s mascot the Phillie Phanatic re-enacted the scenario with another green mascot, which covered their face while Phillie ducked for cover.
