Coronation Street spoilers reveal turmoil for Theo Silverton (played by James Cartwright) and Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) as they attempt to progress their relationship. Todd lands in hot water with the police, while his partner becomes embroiled in a cunning plot.
As Todd stands up for his beliefs, it seems the pair are making more foes than friends. As next week begins, a smitten Todd confides in Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank). He’s relieved that Theo is finally comfortable with his sexuality and even suggests they find a place of their own. However, Billy overhears Theo telling a former colleague that he has a new lady in his life, prompting Billy to confront him.
Theo clarifies that his old friend is biased and not significant enough to be privy to all aspects of his personal life. While Todd and Theo are dining at the bistro, Noah Hedley (Richard Winsor) suddenly shows up, hands Theo a leaflet, and proposes that he attend a meeting the following day to ‘save his soul’.
Later in the week, Theo informs Todd that Noah approached him at the bistro with the intention of ‘saving his soul’. Todd is livid upon learning of Theo’s harassment. As Theo heads to the community centre, an irate Todd peruses the leaflet before arriving with Billy to discover Noah conducting conversion therapy on a group member.

When Noah discloses that Theo is in a safe location, Todd reacts violently, knocking him down. Unbeknownst to Todd, one of the followers records the incident on their phone.
A police officer pays a visit to No. 11, informing them that Todd is required for questioning following an assault report by Noah.
Todd is moved when Theo plans a cosy movie night to lift his spirits and even suggests they should consider getting their own place.
In another part of the soap, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) finds herself on the receiving end of a hotel guest’s complaint, responding with a sharp retort, only to be filmed on his phone. Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) steps in to defuse the situation and soothe Debbie.
He requests the guest erase the footage, but is taken aback when Debbie plants a thank-you kiss on his lips. Later, he shares his concerns about Debbie’s dementia with Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), mentioning the unexpected kiss.
While Ronnie is taken aback, Debbie remains unaware. Ryan cautions Debbie that he was merely looking out for her, and her next assistant manager might not be as understanding.
