According to insiders, tensions are running high behind the scenes as John’s dark past and dangerous obsession with portraying himself as a saviour begin to unravel. What viewers haven’t fully seen is that John’s disturbing serial killer tendencies are now steering his every move, threatening to derail not only the wedding but also the fragile trust he’s managed to build. The revelation sets the stage for an explosive turn of events, leaving fans bracing for what could be one of the most shocking episodes in recent Emmerdale history.

But for Aaron, he is none the wiser and believes he is marrying a genuine man.
Now, the soap has teased a format shake-up as the day of the couple’s wedding draws even closer.
Viewers of Emmerdale will be treated to “different outcomes” each day next week as to what could go down between the pair.
The cast have filmed the multiple endings which are expected to be screened across the week before the main event takes centre stage.
John actor Oliver Farnworth spoke to the Mirror to discuss the changes and admitted his concern at first that it might not work.
He told the publication: “It’s really cool, actually. When I first read the scripts I thought ‘What’s happening? How will this work?’
“They explained it to us, and each episode has a different style with potential different outcomes to the wedding.
“A lot of those are in John’s mind until we get to the real event.
“I think people will watch on the first day and then, when the pattern is set, they’ll get used to the format of it.
“I think Emmerdale is being quite brave at the moment with tactics like that, with a lot of flashbacks and things like that.
Emmerdale finally reveals who pushed Joe Tate after his horror fall – but did you guess right?
“Audiences are more and more used to seeing devices like that on their screens.”
Elsewhere, Oliver let slip that the revelation that he killed Nate Robinson was filmed in JULY last year despite only airing on screen some weeks ago.
The storyline was carefully planned from the start with Nate actor Jurell Carter filming the scenes with Oliver before he exited the show for good.
Oliver added: “The Nate revelation, I filmed that back in July last year. We filmed it all in situ at the barn fire, so I’ve known about that and it’s just a case of when do you release that to the audience.
“I think the fact that the audience know before anyone else in the village is very cool as well, because they go on that journey with John as opposed to someone in the village finding out and that’s when the audience find out.
“It’s more interesting and there’s a lot of devices being used like that.”
