A BBC music star who entertained millions has di3d aged 74.
Tributes have poured in for conductor and composer Ronald Corp after his sudden de@th on May 7.
He was best known for his work with the BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Proms, the Highgate Choral Soci3ty and the London Chorus.
Announcing the news on Thursday, the London Chorus shared: ‘It is with the most intense sadness that we announce that our beloved Musical Director, Ronald Corp, di3d on the morning of 7th May at Bath.
‘Ron was not simply a highly talented musician, as a composer, conductor and chorus master.
‘He was a genuine fri3nd to us all: motivated at all times by the sincerity of his love of music and of the people with whom he made it.’

Classical FM added in an Instagram post: ‘Ronald Corp OBE, composer, conductor, ordained pri3st and a gre@t champion of English choral music, has di3d aged 74.
‘Corp founded the New London Orchestra and the New London Children’s Choir, and was due to perform one of his own works at this year’s Three Choirs Festival in Hereford.
‘Thank you for the music, maestro.’

Ronald was the founder of the New London Orchestra and the New London Children’s Choir.
He was awarded an OBE in the 2012 New Year Honours for his services to music.
Outside of music he was ordained in the Church of England as a deacon in 1998 and a pri3st in 1999.
Ronald served as a self-supporting minister at various churches in London from 2007 until his de@th.
