Gogglebox’s Lee Riley has sent fans into a frenzy by sharing a rare snap of Jenny Newby’s husband Ray, with followers ecstatic to finally “put a face to the name”.
The 57-year-old telly favourite took to Instagram to post some sun-soaked pictures from his recent trip to Northern Cyprus, where he caught up with his beloved co-star Jenny, 69, and her seldom-seen hubby.
Lee captioned the heartwarming post: “What a fabulous catch up with my beautiful side kick Jenny and husband Ray at home in Northern Cyprus.”
The charming photos included Lee and Ray sharing a laugh at a bar, a cute selfie with Jenny, and a playful group shot by the pool.
Fans couldn’t contain their joy in the comments section, with one fan penning: “Best team on Gogglebox. Fab pics of the three of you.”, reports the Mirror.
Another chimed in: “Looking great – all 3 of you. Happy Pride and have a great week! ! !”.

“Can’t wait for you to be back on Gogglebox, the best,” exclaimed another admirer, while a fourth commented: “Nice to put a face to Ray, enjoy bet it’s roasting.”
Ray’s appearance is a treat for viewers as he has remained out of the spotlight during Jenny’s ten-year tenure on the hit Channel 4 show.
While Jenny and Lee’s hilarious escapades – from Jenny’s detective work in her H notebook during Line of Duty to Lee accidentally using her face cream – have become legendary, this glimpse into their off-screen life is a rare and welcome treat for fans.
Jenny and Lee, the inseparable duo from Hull, have shared laughter and pints together for over three decades, a friendship that sparked back in 1994 at The Crown Inn pub, where Jenny was pulling pints as the landlady and Lee was one of her most dedicated patrons.

Recollecting their first encounter with Ireland’s Big Issue magazine, Jenny said: “Lee was a customer at my pub, The Crown Inn in Paull.
“He became a regular in 1994 and used to come in pretty much every night with his partner and we were friends from the off. We’ve been best friends ever since.”
Lee couldn’t help but give his witty take on their long-standing friendship: “I wish I’d never gone in the pub – it cost me a fortune. When I first met her, she had a perm and I can remember thinking, ‘She needs a haircut.’
“We were firm friends immediately. I don’t think we’ve ever had an argument. We’re too placid to argue. She makes me laugh too much for me to ever fall out with her.”
