She added: ‘Baby #9 coming this fall! Don’t tell us we’re crazy. We prefer brave and full of hope for America’s future!’
Rachel, whose children range in age from 19 to two, rose to fame after she appeared on MTV’s The Real World back in 1994.
She married five-term congressman, Sean Duffy, in 1999, and the pair went on to have a total of eight children, so far, together.
Addition: Rachel announced the news for the first time when she posted a photo of her ultrasound on Instagram on Tuesday
Their eldest children are Evita Pilar, 19, Xavier Jack, 17, Lucia-Belen, 15, and John-Paul, 13.
Their younger children include Paloma Pilar, 10, Maria Victoria, nine, Margarita, five, and two-year-old Patrick Miguel.

After announcing the news on Instagram, Rachel, who is a contributor on Fox News, spoke about the exciting news.
‘I just announced this week on Instagram that we are having another baby. So that will be number nine,’ she said.
When asked if there is ‘room’ for another child in the family, Rachel – who also hosts Fox Nation’s series Moms, which shines a light and brings awareness to issues surrounding motherhood and family life – said: ‘Yeah, there’s room. There’s always room in our house.
‘Listen, it was a very long, cold winter, and I have a very cute husband. It was bound to happen, and here we are,’ she added.
‘We’re living in a great economy. It’s a great time to have a baby. And, by the way, we’re populating the world with more conservatives hopefully, if we keep teaching them.’
On how she balances out life with eight children, she said: ‘It’s very chaotic, it’s very busy. You learn a lot about teamwork.
‘When you have that many kids you can’t do it yourself, so the kids have to pitch in, and it’s fun,’ she added.
Old school: Rachel, as seen with her co-stars on The Real World: San Francisco, met Sean when they were both chosen to appear on a spin-off show – Road Rules: All Stars

When it comes to the gender of the baby, she said: ‘We don’t know yet.’
She added: ‘I promise we’ll announce it on Fox and Friends. Yeah, I’d love to find out.’
Busy: Speaking last November, Rachel (pictured in summer 2018) said she has learned a lot since having eight kids, including that the first child was ‘the hardest’
Rachel met her husband, Sean Duffy, on The Real World. The reality TV show, which aired its first season in 1992, saw a group of people in their late teens and early twenties living together in a major city.
For each season, the chosen group of people would live in a different city.

Although they appeared on different editions of the popular 90s show, Rachel and Sean met when they were both selected to appear on a spin-off show.
Rachel and Sean met on the spin off, Road Rules: All Stars, and the pair later married.
Speaking to People last November, Rachel discussed how having so many children has impacted her.
She said: ‘I think the advantage of having eight kids is that, first of all, it was harder for me when I had my first child. I think the first child is absolutely the hardest.
‘And a lot of times, first-time moms look at me and they’re like, “Oh my God.”
‘And I always remind them that my first child was the hardest, because it’s such a change,’ she explained.
She added: ‘You lose your freedom, you don’t know what you’re doing, you have so many more questions about how it works.
‘And what happens when you have a lot more kids is you gain more confidence, you figure out what’s necessary, what’s not, and you learn to manage your time better as a mom with kids who are over the age of 10,’ she added.
