AWKWARD MOMENT: Dermot O’Leary REVEALS Alison Hammond’s SECRET ROMANCE, causing her to BREAK DOWN Live On Air! Audience Stunned by the Truth.

This Morning presenter Dermot O’Leary confessed he was “wracked with guilt” over a recent episode, that saw him reveal Alison Hammond’s secret relationship to the public.

The presenter left Alison in hysterics on Friday as he addressed the moment, following her sharing small details about the hidden man in her life.

Pretending to be a viewer writing in to the show for advice he said: “I’ve got one here from Dermot: ‘Dear Hagan, I’m wracked with guilt for outing my partner on air last week, that she might be in some long-term relationship.

“How do I process this, and should my stars define how I get through it?’.”

As Hagan shared his advice, a shamed Dermot was seen running away from the camera as Alison laughed along.

Last week on the show, he’d exposed the secret romance without her say, with her since confessing that she’s been with the mystery partner for over a year.

Dermot had commented: “I’ll tell you what, she’s not available anymore, but if you were…”

Alison, 47, was shocked that he let slip she was dating someone and questioned him: “What do you mean I’m not available? I’m available.”

A panicked Dermot tried to fix things by yelling out: “She’s available. I don’t know. Now I’m really confused.”

Alison decided to come clean and told the audience: “There is somebody in my life. I’m going to tell everybody. Thank you, Dermot, for telling everyone but there is somebody I’m dating.

“So yes, it is a little bit closed but you know what, I want to share it. Thank you for outing me. I literally tell you once and you tell everybody.”

On Friday, Alison spoke of the romance on ITV’s Lorraine, as she addressed Dermot’s slip-up.

Lorraine said: “Congratulations I know because Dermot revealed it to everybody because you were trying to keep this lovely romance under wraps.”

Alison replied: “You don’t want to put pressure on anything do you? Well, all I’m going to say, I’m not going to say we’re in love and everything.

“All I can say is he makes my heart sing and I feel content. He enriches my life in ways I’ve never had before.”

Lorraine said back: “Alison you don’t have to say any more than that. Anybody that does that for you, that is fabulous.”

Meanwhile, Alison told The Sun recently: “Can you believe Dermot outed me on the TV? I’m a little bit disappointed to be honest with you as I can’t flirt with no one else now.

“He’s a lovely man and all I can say is that I’ve had him hidden for a year and a half. A year and a half I’ve been with him, and no one knew!

“He loves me to bits. He absolutely worships me and massages my feet every single day. What more do you want?!”
