On Thursday, Ali threw it all the way back to the past.
She shared a throwback photo of her and her two daughters – Harper, 18, and Elliot, 21 – to Instagram.
In it, the three of them sat on stairs in their home.
The photo was most likely taken by George since he wasn’t in it.
Ali held what appeared to be a few months-old Harper in her arms.
Elliott, who was around three years old, was behind Ali on the stairs, holding onto her mom’s shoulders.
They all looked off to the side as the photo was snapped.
George’s wife simply captioned the post: “#TBT,” or Throwback Thursday.
MOM’S NIGHTMARE

Ali most likely shared the throwback picture because she and George “experienced pain” when they became empty-nesters this year.
Their youngest daughter Harper went off to college in August.
Ali, 58, took to her Instagram profile to share a photo alongside her husband.
In the snap, the blond hugged the GMA host from the side while he smiled brightly at the camera.
George wore a white button-down, blue blazer, blue and white tie, khaki slacks, and a brown belt.
He wore his classic glasses as he embraced Ali in a one-armed hug.
Ali went makeup-free with her hair in a messy bun.
She wore a white and blue sundress.
The mother-of-two captioned her post: “To help deal with the pain of being empty nesters- I made George dress like it was his first day of class at a boy’s elementary school…”
The couple dropped their “baby” Harper off at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, for her first year of college.
BIG CHANGE
On October 4, Ali posted an update to her Instagram, giving fans insight into their life as empty-nesters.
In the photo, the comedian was standing over a fire pit while in her pajamas.
Ali stood with a grin on her face with a view of the desert behind her.
With one hand, she held a marshmallow over an open fire, roasting it.
“I love S’mores. In my pajamas. In the desert,” Ali captioned the photo.
It’s unclear when this photo was taken, but it seems Ali has been making peace with Harper being out of the house for now.
