Brittany Mahomes recently marked an emotional milestone in her motherhood journey – one that signaled both an ending and a new beginning.

The mother of three and wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to Instagram to reveal that her breastfeeding journey had come to an end following the birth of her youngest child, Golden Raye.

“Thank the Lord every day for allowing me to become a mom. I love every second of every day that I get to spend with them,” Brittany shared in a heartfelt post.

While she continues to embrace every moment with her children – Sterling, Bronze, and Golden – the path hasn’t been without its challenges.

Brittany, 29, revealed that one major support during this chapter was Milk by Mom, a service she praised for giving her much-needed flexibility. “It’s just wild to me that so many people out in the world don’t know about this and haven’t heard about this,” she said. “It’s like the greatest thing ever and will save you some space in your house and some stress if you do travel a lot and you are breastfeeding.”

From emotional closure to renewed strength

Back in March, shortly after welcoming Golden, Brittany had proudly shared that she was able to pump and store a substantial amount of breast milk thanks to Milk by Mom.

That allowed her some freedom to travel and recharge, even while staying committed to her newborn. But now, she’s moving on from that chapter – a moment she admitted was bittersweet.

“So I just wanted to share it with you guys again because, unfortunately, I am done breastfeeding. And I’m coming to the end of it. Yeah, so all the emotions, but I did want to share it with you guys,” Brittany revealed. She also hinted that this could be her final time experiencing motherhood in the infant stage, as the couple had previously indicated they only planned to have three children.

Still, she remains deeply thankful for the support that allowed her to balance motherhood and self-care. “As a mom, it has made my life a lot easier and they’re great. So they make it very easy on you. And it’s just the greatest thing ever,” she added in her message, offering a final recommendation to fellow mothers facing similar struggles.

Now, with breastfeeding in the rearview mirror, Brittany is embracing her next phase with full energy. Just two months after Golden‘s birth, she was already back in the gym, sharing workout stories and cardio updates on Instagram. “Entering my kinda cardio era again,” she wrote from the stair climber – a light-hearted but powerful declaration of determination.

More recently, she teamed up with trainer Kirsty Rae to work on rebuilding her core and glute strength, crucial steps in postpartum recovery.

“Glutes are essential for core stability,” Rae explained. “When they’re weak, pressure shifts to your pelvic floor… Rebuilding glute strength supports pelvic stability, reduces stress on the pelvic floor, and improves overall core function.”

For Brittany Mahomes, the end of one chapter is just the start of another – one defined by resilience, family love, and renewed strength.
