During the emotional interview, Cat admitted that she was ‘in pieces’ when she heard about their story.
And Ben also became very emotional.
He said: ‘Just had a little moment there as you looked at me, I thought I’d burst into tears.

Ben Shephard ‘almost bursts into tears’ as he spoke to the pair about their incredible story on the ITV show on Wednesday
‘I’ve done a lot of work with the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and they talk a lot about organ donation.
‘I’ve got friends that have had loved ones donate, because of course that’s something that’s attacked by CF.
‘And I know the difference organ donation can make to people’s lives, it truly transforms people’s lives.
‘But limb donation for Corinne, and I’ve met Corinne before when she won a Pride of Sport Award many years ago.
‘For her to be able to use her hands when she had none, and for Deborah to hold her sister’s hands, who’s no longer with us, it’s just the most extraordinary thing.’
Many rushed to share how touched they had been listening to their story.
One said: ‘This is so sad but what a kind family and to change someone else’s life like that x.’
Another added: ‘Heartfelt and heartwarming. Rest in peace beautiful lady.’

A fifth chimed in: ‘Wow I didn’t expect that level of movement she has in her donated hands, that’s pretty brilliant! She’s even got fine detailed movements in her fingers and sensation, well done to the team behind the surgery.’
During the chat, Ben asked if the pair had managed to hold hands, and they decided to live on air.
