The clock is ticking on “Good Morning America 3” hosts DeMarco Morgan and Eva Pilgrim as network brass look to shake up the ratings-challenged show, The Post has learned.
ABC News president Almin Karamehmedovic will likely replace the anchors of the third hour of the marquee morning show by the end of the summer, according to a source with direct knowledge.
The pair took over the 1 p.m. time slot in 2023 following the scandalous affair between married co-anchors TJ Holmes and Amy Robach.

The possible overhaul comes after ABC News laid off “GMA3” staff last month and consolidated its production under “GMA.”
At the time, Karamehmedovic assured staffers that the show would not be axed.
However, one source speculated that Karamehmedovic will pull the plug on Morgan and Pilgrim, and possibly bring in new anchors or even tap the highly paid trio from the “GMA” mothership: Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos.
“’GMA3′ won’t be there at the end of the summer,” the insider said, referring to the current hosts.
ABC News declined to comment on Morgan and Pilgrim’s future.
“What we have said from the beginning is that we are unifying all day parts under the ‘GMA’ umbrella and team and that includes seeing all members of the extended ‘GMA’ family in the third hour,” a spokesperson told The Post on Tuesday.

“The third hour is a valued part of the ‘GMA’ franchise. Robin, George and Michael have been on before and they will continue to be featured,” the rep concluded.
Morgan and Pilgrim have not made waves as hosts — apart from Morgan, whose attention-grabbing Instagram photos have set social media abuzz.
The Post exclusively reported last year that ABC News execs were alarmed over a series of provocative photos of Morgan posing in skin-tight biker shorts, in which the anchor’s “package” was on full display.

The racy pics, unfortunately, have not goosed “GMA 3’s” ratings, which have generally hovered between 1.3 million and 1.5 million total viewers over the past year and a half.
In the last few months of Robach and Holmes’ tenure, ratings were in the 1.7 million-viewer range.
But ABC News’ viewership woes also extend to its crown jewel, “GMA,” which has been under major pressure in recent months as ratings trend down for all TV shows.

The perennial morning show winner has struggled to maintain its supremacy over NBC’s “Today” show in recent months.
What’s more, there are rumors that a major talent shakeup could be in the offing at “GMA.”
As previously reported by The Post, the network may pull the plug on Stephanopoulos, who has been “miserable” after he was forced to apologize as part of the network’s defamation lawsuit settlement with President Trump.

“He’s definitely gone,” the insider predicted at the time. “He’s a dead man walking for sure.”
There are also rumors that Strahan may step away from the show when his contract expires later this year. The former New York Giants star and Fox NFL Sunday analyst is looking to focus on his sports commentary career. He also wants to devote more time to his teenage daughter Isabella, who is fighting a rare brain cancer, according to a report from NewsNation.
