LSU Tigers star gymnast Olivia Dunne and her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes, were like many people on New Year’s, looking to celebrate the end of one year as we got set to bring in another year.
Livvy and Skenes partied on Bourbon Street in New Orleans before a deadly attack that left at least 15 people dead on New Year’s Day.
Skenes’ teammate joined the couple, and Pirates prospect Bubba Chandler and his girlfriend, Allie Enright. This was mere hours before a Ford pickup truck drove into a crowd of partygoers in New Orleans’ French Quarter and took lives while injuring as many as 30 people.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model showed one picture of Bourbon Street that showcased Georgia flags hung on buildings ahead of the Sugar Bowl between the Bulldogs and Notre Dame.
Olivia Dunne added a heartbreak emoji following the attack that would come hours later.
