SARA Haines is widely recognized as being one of the co-hosts of the daytime talk show The View, but she’s also worked as a correspondent on ABC News, Today, and Good Morning America.
Sara Haines has been busier than ever, striking a balance between her marriage to Max Shifrin, being a mother of three, and her hosting gigs on The View, The Chase, and most recently, her stint on What Would You Do? starting Sunday, February 18, 2024.

“I didn’t have a big plan, I didn’t have a big production,” Max revealed during a November 2018 interview with Yahoo Life.
“So I literally got up, crawled out of bed in my pajamas, and got on one knee on the floor next to the bed – and proposed awkwardly and without much charm at all.”
Shifrin is an attorney who represents individuals, small businesses and large institutions in state and federal courts across the country.
“Max has represented clients across many industries, including energy conglomerates, real estate developers, government agencies and public authorities, hotels, financial institutions, general contractors, software developers, insurers and bankruptcy trustees,” his profile on BakerHostetler states.
“Max is currently a senior member of the BakerHostetler team serving as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC (BLMIS).
“An unprecedented effort involving more than 1,000 lawsuits filed by the SIPA Trustee to recover assets for the benefit of defrauded BLMIS customers.”
Max is relatively active on social media, regularly posting photos and videos of his wife and children.
He most recently shared a Christmas photo from the White House, posing alongside his wife, Sara Haines, and the US President, Joe Biden, and First Lady Jill Biden.
What has Sara Haines said about her husband?
During an episode of The View, Haines spoke about her husband and how she thinks they make a good couple.
“For me, it was never an option to settle, because my biggest mission in life is to evolve as far as I can to be the best I can be,” she said.
“I wanted someone that also recognizes they are a work in progress, and will keep making each other better, and will always keep aiming for that.”
“That was more important to me than anything,” she added.
“I found that in Max, and not because he all the sudden came along on a horse, but we had a common vision.”
“I wanted my equal and someone that could match me in a shared vision, and that’s what I found,” Haines added.
During a January 2024 episode of The View, Haines also opened up about her and her husband’s bedroom habits.
She admitted that she frequently asks about chores around the house after doing the deed.
“So what happens is, sometimes when I recover, I think about all the things we still have to do,” she joked.
“I stop and I say, ‘Babe, did the plumber call today?’” she laughed.
“I need to wait a little longer, which is why I look at my phone – give him a full five minutes before I ask him a question.”
“He got what he wanted, I’m gonna get what I want,” she added.
