Fox News host Jesse Watters stirred up controversy on Thursday after floating the idea of a “mostly peaceful invas10n” of Canada, which Trvmp slammed with tariffs earlier this year, prompting online backlash.

During Tuesday’s broadcast of The Five, Watters addressed the ongoing debate over gerrymandering, suggesting that if Democrats were going to “rip up the rules,” Republicans should play just as aggressively by ann3xing parts of Canada.

“If he needs to gerrymander, he is going to gerrymander,” Watters, who was brutally targeted by Greg Gutfeld last week, said.

“And if they want to add stars to the flag, okay, we will just take Alberto, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and it doesn’t have to be aggressively. We can take it peacefully. It will be mostly peaceful invas10n.”

He continued: “And those are three states, that means six Republican senators. See what we did there?”

The segment sparked immediate backlash on X, with critics accusing the Fox News personality of irresponsibly promoting territorial aggression.

“What amazes me is his confidence in showcasing his stupidity and ignorance on live TV,” one user wrote.

Others criticized Watters’ attempt to frame the odd idea as non-violent.

“Oh, we’re back to talking about taking 0ver part of Canada again?” another user posted.

A third penned, “Why do they think Canadians would vote for Republicans.”

“Ann3xing Canada is now Republican strategy,” a fourth stated.

The 46-year-old is no stranger to provocative statements and has frequently drawn criticism.

He is co-host of The Five and now leads his own show, Jesse Watters Primetime, which regularly ranks among the most-watched cable news programs.
