Lawrence Jones: “I’m Proud to Be a Believer”

Fox & Friends co-host Lawrence Jones opened up about his faith in a recent live interview with CBN News, offering a rare glimpse into his spiritual foundation. Raised in a family of preachers — including his mother and grandparents — Jones shared, “I grew up in church. Knowing Christ and accepting Him into my heart… that’s all I know.”

But it wasn’t until moving out on his own in Washington, D.C. and later New York City that Jones said his faith truly became personal. “You start getting tested,” he explained. “The faith walk became real when life became real.”

In his latest book American Man: Speaking the Truth about the War on Masculinity, Jones tackles themes of faith and identity head-on. “I don’t try to be perfect,” he said. “I try to be more like Jesus.”

Jones recently hosted the network’s second annual Faith and Friends Concert Series, a Lenten celebration that spotlighted Christian artists and sparked meaningful discussions. “People messaged us about crying on Sunday morning,” he shared. “Some hadn’t been to church in years — we’re bringing church to them in their living room.”

Despite being in the media spotlight, Jones says his beliefs remain steadfast. “I don’t find it a struggle to hold on to who God has called me to be,” he said. “I’m proud to be a believer.”
