Fox News star Kat Timpf recently welcomed a son – and says she went into labour just hours after being diagnosed with breast cancer, per the Los Angeles Times.

“Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About 15 hours before I went into labour, I was diagnosed with breast cancer,” Timpf, 36, wrote in a statement via Instagram last week. “Now, before you worry, my doctor says it’s stage zero and is confident that it almost certainly hasn’t spread,” she added.
A few days later, she took to the social media platform once again to share updates on her health situation.
She began her video by thanking netizens for their support. “This is obviously a really crazy difficult unexpected time and I really do appreciate it,” she says in the clip, before going on to confirm that she will be undergoing a double mastectomy.
“I don’t take cutting my t*** off lightly,” Timpf continued. “As a general rule, I don’t think any woman does. I find it devastating. But I am very grateful to have access to the opinions of many brilliant minds when it comes to breast cancer.”
