Ginger Zee’s haunted childhood: 4 years Battling Darkness after Parents’ Divorce – What Miracle Saved her?
Ginger Zee discussed suffering from an0rexia as a girl on Monday’s episode of Dancing With The Stars.
The 35-year-old contestant in a personal video segment said her parents divorced when she was aged seven.
‘I think it effected my childhood a lot,’ Ginger revealed.

The Good Morning America chief meteorologist said she had to deal with moving and making new friends.
‘I needed to control something. I know what I’ll do, I’ll just not eat,’ Ginger recalled.
Ginger said she suffered ‘the bulk of my an0rexia’ between ages 10 and 14.
She admitted that she wasn’t even sure how deep she was into the eating disorder.

Her mother Dawn Craft said only she and Ginger’s closest friends knew of the depths of her eating disorder.
‘I’m so angry that that’s the way I decided to cope. It’s going to be with me my entire life. I’m always going to have body-shaming issues,’ Ginger said.
‘But I think I’ve now grown into enough of a woman and mature person that I realize that life is a lot bigger than that,’ Ginger added.

Ginger and her husband Ben Aaron welcomed a son Adrian Benjamin on December 19.
She performed twice on Monday night before learning that she and pro parnter Valentin Chmerkovskiy had advanced to next week’s finals.
They will compete against Paige VanZant and her pro partner Mark Ballas and Nyle DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd for the coveted mirror ball trophy.
