Host Jesse Watters delivered a heartfelt tribute to his “brother,” WWE legend Hulk Hogan, who passed away at his Florida residence on July 24 following a card1ac arr3st.

The Fox News anchor took to his Instagram on July 25 to share a photograph of himself interviewing the wrestling icon at a Republican gathering.

In the image, Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, can be seen tearing off his suit jacket while shouting, as Watters sits nearby grinning at the beloved wrestler’s theatrics. Watters simply captioned the post, “RIP BROTHER.”

He also addressed Hogan’s passing during his Fox News program, Jesse Watters Primetime, declaring, “Hulk Hogan wasn’t just a wrestler, he was a household name. When you said Hulk, people knew who you were talking about. When you said Hogan, same thing.”

Watters went on, “To most, he was larger than life, figuratively and literally… Hulk was the embodiment of the ultimate good guy, not just because he was picking up 7 foot 4 giants, but because he was the pinnacle of patriotism.

“As the country was in the middle of the Cold War with the Soviets, the Hulk came in and kicked them out of his ring… But Hogan didn’t just deliver in the ring, he was a menace behind the mic and a master promoter.”

Watters then aired footage of Hogan endorsing Donald Trump and remarked, “Hogan became the hottest thing. He was even going on Late Night. Hulk went from the ring to the small screen and to the big screen,” while showing a clip from Hogan’s appearance in Rocky III.

Watters weighed in on Hogan’s foray into Hollywood and reality TV before touching on his “shocking” appearance at the 2024 RNC.

“Hulkamania joined forces with Trumpamania,” Watters remarked. “He was stumping on the trail, and then he made his way back to the Garden. And that would be the last time Hulk would ever walk the stage at MSG, the place, for years, he was the face of.

“Hogan wasn’t just a friend of the president’s, he was a friend of Primetime’s. Hulk Hogan’s life represents a time when men were men and the country wasn’t scared of anything. If Hogan can body slam a five hundred pound giant in the ring, anything was possible. For you and the United States.

“Nothing was bigger than his heart,” Watters continued, before noting the celebrity’s “unbreakable spirit” will endure in American culture eternally. “Rest in peace, brother,” Watters concluded.

On Thursday, emergency responders rushed to Hogan’s residence in Florida after receiving a call about a “card1ac arr3st.”

Upon arrival, police and EMTs were stationed outside his home, with reports indicating Hogan’s body was transported via stretcher into an ambulance.

Speculation about Hogan’s failing health had been rampant. Just weeks prior, Hogan’s spouse Sky refuted claims he was comatose, affirming his heart was “strong” amid recovery from multiple surgeries, including a recent “fusion procedure” on his neck, as reported by TMZ Sports.
