Former One Show host Jermaine Jenas admitted: “I l0st ev3rything” after being sacked by the BBC for sending X-rat3d m3ssag3s.
Speaking on his podcast, Jenas said:
“I broke a vow. I had to take it and handle it, and I feel like I did that.”
He described the messages as “Christian Grey in text messages”, saying:
“It was s3xting, as simple as that, but it was initiated to me, and then I responded. There was no power element.”
Jenas also revealed problems with his wife before the scandal:
“We weren’t in the best place ourselves… I dealt with it wrong and got heavily punished by l0sing pretty much everything that I had at that time.”
He was dropped from Match of The Day and by his talent agency. After nearly a year, Jenas now works for talkSPORT, promising to become a “better person”.
