Alex want to know more about the show, but told Amanda: ‘I’ve got so many questions, but we are being told ‘Move on!”
The blonde beauty laughed at the interruption, which allowed Alex to divert the chat to the new BBC game show, The Inner Circle, which Amanda hosts.
‘There’s a BBC quiz show that you’ve done,’ Alex started as Amanda quipped: ‘Oh, the quiz show! Oh, it’s because it’s for the BBC! Who’s upstairs asking?!’
‘Yes, I’ve just finished filming. I was thrilled to be asked to do it, because I’ve never thought about doing anything like that before,’ Amanda continued.
She went on to explain how the show looks at ‘human nature’ and winners must decide whether to share their earnings or take them for themselves.
‘It’s called The Inner Circle. It’s a general knowledge quiz. It’s a cross between The Weakest Link, Golden Balls, all kinds of shows.
‘Again, it’s about human nature because at the end you get a pot of money and you’re working with a person.
It’s about whether you split, or shaft,’ Amanda said.

‘And it’s general knowledge… I’m like, ”Why have you got me to host?!” but, I wore some fabulous frocks!’
Cheat: Unfinished Business sees Amanda team up with relationship expert Paul C. Brunson, known for starring on Married At First Sight.
The Inner Circle sees contestants compete in a series of rounds designed to test their general knowledge and strategic thinking.
It comes after Alex revealed the Hollywood A-lister who was ‘so full of himself’ on The One Show.
The presenter, 48, shared on the Netmums Podcast that actor Jared Leto , 53, was her least favourite guest to ever appear on the BBC show.
Jared was interviewed on the chat show in April 2022 to discuss his miniseries, WeCrashed.
She told hosts Wendy Golledge and Alison Perry: ‘Jared Leto was dressed as one of the Three Musketeers and he had all this, I don’t know, Gucci, big shirt, sleeves billowing. I mean, he was so full of himself.
‘And I thought, no, no, no, no. Our audience are nice people and, they deserve better than this. And, ok, you might be like a huge celebrity star and you’ve done all these films, but it doesn’t cost to be polite and nice.
‘Anybody who can’t bring those simple skills to the table, I’m out. I’m like, no, sorry, you’ve not been brought up well, then.’
She added: ‘People assume that, it must be amazing to have these big Hollywood actors and yeah, it is. It’s fine. But I really like when we have British homegrown talent. They know the show, they know the atmosphere and, they give really good interviews as a result.
‘We’ve had people on that are big Hollywood stars. Last week we had Robert De Niro and, he was lovely. He was a little bit like, “oh, my God, this is live.” And that’s the thing about actors, they don’t like being themselves. They often get quite nervous.

Alex Jones says Jared Leto was ‘full of himself’ on The One Show
‘There are some who are brilliant, and they are very relaxed, but when they have to promote the film, they get into a panic, and the interview can be a little bit sort of staccato and it doesn’t really flow.’
Alex went on to share some funny moments, and admitted she enjoys when things go wrong.
‘I like the moments where things go wrong. Like we had a Cyberman who fainted. That was great,’ she said.
‘And we’ve had some funny moments. I remember we had a Dalek on the show because it was like a big Doctor Who anniversary and the Dalek couldn’t fit through the studio door and we were just weak because it was all built around this Dalek and then suddenly the Dalek was like it was coming forward, but it couldn’t quite squeeze in.
‘Live television is brilliant and keeps you vital and I’m still so grateful and sort of just amazed that I’m still there, you know, Not a day is the same.
‘It’s a lovely job to be in, but when things go wrong, it’s really good fun, you know, because there’s a bit of jeopardy.’
