THE TODAY Show TV host Vicky Nguyen has put her best foot forward, but not everyone has approved of her footwear choice.
The journalist, who was appearing on NBC’s The Today Show, chose a dark purple suit to present on Boxing Day but she kept things casual when it came to shoes.

Pairing her purple business suit with some comfortable looking yellow UGG boots, the presenter didn’t escape some playful teasing from her colleagues.
Sitting across from fellow presenters Laura Jarrett, Peter Alexander and Jacob Sororoff, Vicky was called out for her comfy shoes.
Peter Alexander finished off a slot on student loans before quickly drawing attention to Vicky’s shoes, as he said: “Will you kick up your feet?
“Bringing it in with the Christmas slippers, that was a good look.”
Vicky laughed it off as she explained: “The day after Christmas, that Mom brain moment where I thought I had the shoes but I didn’t have the shoes.
“Thank you to Jim our director who cropped it out!”
Jacob then interjected and teased Peter to show viewers his tank top, leaving the four laughing.
Lisa added: “You’re never getting out of the dog house on that one!”
Vicky has shared the clip of the banter to Instagram, where she told fans: “That time @peteralexandertv outed me for rolling in slippers.
“Ya got me. This is normal Vicky in her natural habitat. Business on top, Uggs on bottom.”
Today anchor Hoda Kotb’s replacement revealed to be Craig Melvin – who says he’s ‘beyond excited and grateful’ for gig
She added: “Thanks for trying to distract @jacobsoboroff”.
The four presenters were standing in for usual hosts Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin and Al Roker on the NBC morning show.
Hoda announced her exit from the show earlier this year, and will present her last programme in January after 26 years on air.
Speaking on air in September, she broke the news as she said: “I have spent 26 years at NBC.
“I just turned 60, and it was such a monumental moment for me, because I started thinking about that decade.
“I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60 and to try something new.”
She added that she “decided that this is the right time to move on” as she’d like to spend more time with her family and daughters.
Craig Melvin will replace Hoda from January 10 alongside Savannah Guthrie to present the NBC morning show.
