Kelly, 42, won the award for Best Daytime Talk Series at the exclusive event.
During her acceptance speech, she opened up about her mental health and thanked NBC for getting her through a rough patch.
“It’s important to say that not everybody really thinks about what’s going on behind the scenes.
“The fact that NBC, a huge company, took time and listened when I said, ‘Hey, my life is not going super great. I don’t know if I can live here anymore. I don’t know if I can do this,'” she said, according to People.
Kelly was referring to her move from Los Angeles to New York, with her whole show transported to the East Coast.
The television star moved after her divorce from ex Brandon Blackstock in 2020.
She continued, “They really wrapped their arms around us, and they helped us move… The move has been so great, not just for me and my family, but our whole show.
“It takes a lot of time and money and effort to do that – it is not unnoticed. I just want to say thank you for thinking of mental health as a product.”
This isn’t the first time Kelly has spoken about her big move post-divorce.
The star shares two children – daughter River, 9, and son Remington, 8 – with Brandon, and admitted she wasn’t initially confident with her plan.

“I’ll be real honest: I thought I was making a horrible decision. I knew I needed a fresh start and couldn’t be in L.A.
“I really wanted to be in Montana, but you can’t really do a show from there quite yet. So I was like, ‘The only other option would probably be New York,” she told USA Today in October last year, just weeks after moving.
The American Idol winner added, “I genuinely love it, and I love that my kids love it.”
SAY WHAT?
An insight into Kelly’s marriage to Brandon was given in court documents during their divorce.

Kelly Clarkson
Kelly became a coach on The Voice in 2018, but claimed that prior to bagging the job, Brandon told her she wasn’t sexy enough for the role.
Brandon told her that NBC would be “looking for a more sex symbol type,” according to court documents obtained by The Post.
He reiterated that the network wanted “someone sexy,” suggesting Kelly wouldn’t fit the bill.
Kelly’s lawyer, Ed McPherson, questioned how Kelly remembered the conversation in such detail.
“Well, a wife doesn’t forget a time she gets told she’s not a sex symbol, so that stays,” she shared.
