‘NAUGHTY’ – WHO IS SHE TALKING ABOUT? LOOK AT YOURSELF FIRST, Alison – This Morning host Breaks Down in Tears after Criticism. What’s the controversial truth behind this remark?
Alison Hammond is absolutely ‘gutted’ as one of her projects is coming to an end.
The This Morning star – who presents the ITV daytime show on Fridays with Dermot O’Leary – has been keeping busy with other commitments while her co-star has been joined by other guest hosts with Josie Gibson and most recently Sian Welby sitting on the famous sofa.
Now Alison, 48, has given her fans a seven day warning – but thankfully her future on the show isn’t at risk.
She has been treading the boards as the Spirit of the Beans in her hometown in the Birmingham Hippodrome’s pantomime production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
She’s been delighting audiences over the last month, but now her time is coming to an end.
Sporting her epic costume for the show – complete with a blue feathered headdress – she warned anyone wanting to get tickets that it will soon be too late.

She said in her Instagram Story: ‘Hi everyone, I’m just giving you a heads up that there’s only seven days left until the end of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
‘I’m going to be gutted when it’s over because I’ve loved being the Spirit of the Bean, but make sure you come and experience such a funny, entertaining and lovely panto.’
It comes after Alison was hit with Ofcom complaints after calling children ‘naughty’ on This Morning.

On January 12, she hosted the programme with Dermot and sparked some uproar with a comment about children staying at home during school hours and watching the show.
Subsequently 86 people complained to Ofcom, with a spokesperson confirming to Metro.co.uk: ‘The majority of complaints related to comments made by Alison Hammond about children who are not in school at the time of broadcast as naughty.’
In recent years, parenting experts have highlighted issues with calling children ‘naughty’, insisting it’s dated and can lead to children becoming anxious and self-critical as adults.

The same day, Alison apologised on-air after her phone went off during the show.
‘Did you not turn it off?’ Dermot asked Alison, as he heard the phone ringing behind him, to which she replied: ‘I did turn it off, that’s not me, it wasn’t me!’
She quickly grabbed her phone and added: ‘Oh, it was! I thought I had it on aeroplane mode. Hold on, let me turn it off. I’m so sorry!’
