Only 6 points and 8 turnovers – What’s really going on with Caitlin Clark?
The Indiana Fever were able to put an end to their two-game losing streak on Tuesday after securing a much-needed 94-86 victory over the Seattle Storm.
The Fever were on the road on Tuesday, and they had to battle hard against a determined Storm side that was looking to improve on its 9-5 record.
Caitlin Clark had another miserable outing as the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year carried on with her recent shooting slump. Against Seattle, the 23-year-old scored just six points on 3-of-13 shooting and 0-of-6 from beyond the arc, while also committing another eight turnovers.
The Fever, however, saw Aliyah Boston step up to the plate amid Clark’s struggles. Boston did so in a major way, too, going off for a career-high 31 points on 13-of-18 shooting, eight rebounds, three assists and two steals in 33 minutes of action.

Indiana was still feeling the aftershock of Boston’s big game on Wednesday, which prompted a strong message from the team on social media.
“A round of applause for Aliyah Boston’s career-high 31-point performance last night 👏” the team posted on Instagram.
In the post, the Fever included several reactions from social media as Boston made all sorts of waves with her massive performance.
This wasn’t a one-off outing from the two-time All-Star, either. Boston was coming off a 26-point explosion in Indiana’s last game. In 14 appearances this season, the former Rookie of the Year has averaged 15.9 points on 61.7% shooting, 8.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.4 blocks in 29.6 minutes per contest.
She will have an opportunity to keep her hot streak going on Thursday when the Fever return to action in a home game against the Los Angeles Sparks.
