Liz and Kelvin Fletcher is awash with messages of support after her daughter’s stunning success in a dance contest.

Known for her varied acting and voiceover work on stage and screen, Liz captured the joyful moment when her daughter, Marnie, secured a gold medal at a dance competition, sharing the triumph on social media.

Liz is mother to four children with the former Emmerdale actor, Kelvin Fletcher; their brood includes Marnie, Milo, and twin boys Mateusz and Maximus. Their family has captured the hearts of many, with their ‘Fletchers’ Family Farm’ series charting their move from urban living to managing a 120-acre farm in the scenic Peak District.

The series offers viewers a glimpse into their adaptation to farm life, animal rearing, and the ins and outs of country living, while the Fletchers frequently update fans on their homestead adventures via their social media accounts.

Taking to Instagram with the latest exciting news, Liz proudly announced: “We officially have a GLOBAL GOLD CHAMPION Marnie Fletcher. 2025 @globaldanceopen.”

She revealed the dedication behind Marnie’s achievements: “She gave her hours, her heart, and her little feet to something she loves learning, trying, getting back up, again and again. She listened, she trusted every word, every correction, every cheer from her teachers.”, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Liz reflected on the transformative power of performance: “Then came the wings… where the world is quiet but her heart is loud. Nerves danced in her tummy, but so did courage. And in that moment, she knew this is her time, her stage. And she stepped into the light, ready to shine.”

The chuffed mum exclaimed, “I couldn’t be any prouder” as a second video captured the instant Marnie realised she had clinched the gold. Onstage to collect her first-place card, Marnie was met with roaring applause from the audience and her fellow dancers. An emotional Liz posted: “The moment she realised she got the GOLD. My heart.”

Emmerdale’s Adam Thomas couldn’t contain his excitement, commenting: “Wowowowowowowow”, and ex-Coronation Street star congratulated, “Amazing! ! Well-done Marnie”, while Brooke Vincent from the same show responded with love, sending red heart emojis.
