Emmerdale fans are certain that soap legend Eric Pollard is planning his revenge after discovering Tracy Metcalfe’s betrayal – and it’s not going to end well for the young mum

Emmerdale viewers believe they’ve figured out a revenge plot by soap stalwart Eric Pollard against Tracy Metcalfe.
Eric, portrayed by Chris Chittell, has been a constant presence on the ITV soap since his debut in 1986 and as the longest-serving character, he’s been at the centre of numerous major storylines.
From multiple marriages and village feuds to his recent heart-wrenching struggle with Parkinson’s disease, Eric’s tenure in the Dales has been anything but dull. Recently, he was left shattered after discovering employee Tracy’s (Amy Walsh) betrayal.
As viewers will remember, single mother Tracy has been finding it hard to make ends meet after Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) left the village, leading her to steal money from Eric’s shop.

Tracy reached breaking point when Eric noticed a significant amount of cash missing and blamed himself, unaware that Tracy was the culprit.
Overwhelmed with guilt, she confided in her sister Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick), who inadvertently spilled the beans to Eric while intoxicated, leaving him devastated.
Despite Vanessa giving Tracy the money to repay Eric, he still fired her.

A humiliated Tracy declared she was planning to leave the village, but recently, Eric had a change of heart and rehired Tracy, although she’ll have to work to regain his trust, reports Leicestershire Live.
Nonetheless, Emmerdale viewers are sure Eric has a vengeance plot brewing against Tracy. Online speculation is rife with fans predicting an astounding twist that could see Tracy behind bars.

One eagle-eyed fan remarked on an Emmerdale Facebook group: “Eric is definitely planning his revenge…” Meanwhile, another eagerly responded: ” I hope so! Take Tracy down Eric!”.
Someone else speculated: “I think he will eventually get the police involved.” A different fan proclaimed confidently: “Yeah, hopefully he’s setting it up ready.”
