Before her death, Powers made TV appearances on Fox News’ Red Eye, Fox & Friends and The Willis Report.
During her battle with glioblastoma, Powers underwent three brain surgeries as well as multiple rounds of radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy, according to a GoFundMe that has since been disabled.

Powers was pregnant with her son Bennett, who is now 3, while she through treatment. She referred to herself as “the luckiest unlucky girl” after her cancer went into remission, and she also joked about how her treatment left her with the same haircut as her newborn son.
