SH0CKWAVE at GMA: “I was just a SIDEK1CK” – Michael Strahan’s sh0cking reveal stuns viewers and Co-hosts. Robin Roberts had to shout: “What is wrong with you? Show me?”.

Michael Strahan recently opened up about his past workpláce tensi0n with former co-host Kelly Ripa. In an interview with the New York Times, Michael didn’t mention Kelly directly but clearly hinted at issues between them. “I once showed up at a job and realized: ‘It’s not about the team. It’s s3lf!sh, and I don’t work well in that kind of environment,’” he confessed. He also admitted: “I thought I was coming in as a partner, but turns out I was just a s1d3kick.”

Michael tried to fix things by setting up regular meetings: “We met a few times, and that was fine. But then she said she didn’t need to meet. You can’t force someone to do what they don’t want.” Despite this, he praised her: “If you look at the show, it hasn’t really changed since Regis Philbin. It’s a formula. You learn to tell a story so even drinking a glass of water sounds interesting. I learned that from her. She’s really good. If people think I hate her – I don’t. I respect how good she is.”
Speaking about his departure, Michael said: “I was asked to join [GMA] by network heads. It wasn’t really my choice, but people thought I just walked out. That was completely m1sh@ndl3d. People who should’ve handled it better apologized, but damage was done.”
In the end, Michael Strahan’s words revealed an honest yet respectful look into the tough dynamics behind TV.
