The beloved TV personality and This Morning presenter, Alison Hammond, lost nearly 27 lbs, and her fans have been shocked. Before her weight loss journey, this beautiful actress weighed 280 lbs but, after her mother’s tragic death in February 2020, Alison started to lose weight. “I’ve never had health issues until then. It scared me because my mum had diabetes and I want to be there for my son. I decided to do something about it. I go for walks and I cut out sugar. I feel a lot better.” she said.

How Did She Lose Weight?
Although Alison doesn’t hate her own body, she wanted to get rid of her excess fat anyway. Throughout her weight loss journey, Alison Hammond cut off sugar from her life and started to work out. She stated that she loved “lifting weights” and felt a lot better since she started getting slimmer. Even though these were helpful in terms of losing weight, Alison noticed that it wasn’t enough.

Did She Lose All That Weight by Just Working Out?
Definitely not. We believe she noticed that for some people, working out and cutting down on sugar isn’t enough to lose weight. Therefore, it is possible that she had weight loss surgery to achieve her new body. And not only her co-workers but also her fans began to notice her dazzling, new look. Numerous people sent their best wishes to Alison, showing their support along her journey.

What Happened After Surgery?
After receiving a lot of compliments, Alison felt good about her new look and felt more motivated. She felt the joy of getting one step closer to her dream body and healthy life. “I’ve got a good life, but I also want to live longer and feel healthy,” she stated. Together with weight loss surgery, cutting down sugar, and working out, Alison managed to prolong her dedication to pursuing health.
